                          though the Hitler diaries scandal had made it quite
                          clear that there were many fake Hitlers on the market,
                          the trade in the "authentic" Hitler watercolors and
                          other objects attributed to Hitler continued.   11-04-2002 - "Hitlers" offered by David Irving David Irving
                                  offers four "Hitlers", stating:   "Thirty years ago a British collector obtained four paintings executed by the young Adolf Hitler from two different sources, and these are now offered for sale. Hitler gave two of the paintings to Helen Schwaiger, the waitress at the Munich restaurant at which he regularly ate during his first Munich period, 1913-1914, in payment of his tab; she "earned" altogether 21 paintings by Hitler in this way.                             was purchased from a British auction house. Their
                            authenticity is
                            vouched for, and the paintings are accompanied by
