Droog Magazine periodical for investigative
journalism The strange business of selling fakes, forgeries and other concoctions attributed to Adolf Hitler (1889-1945) and other Nazi criminals. Introduction Even
though the Hitler diaries scandal made it quite clear
that there were many fake Hitlers on the market, the
trade in the "authentic" Hitler watercolors and other
objects attributed to Hitler continued. Thirty-two "Hitlers" discovered in Belgium In March 1986 two authors, Jacques de Launay and Paul de Saint-Hilaire made pubvlic that thirty-two authentic Hitler watercolors, paintings, drawings and sketches were discovered on an attic in Libois-Evelette, a small village near Huy in Belgium. These "Huy Hitlers" reappeared in 1992 and 2006. See: The Huy Hitlers (summary) Read the full story in: Report on the Huy Hitlers (pdf, 5 MB) © Compilation Bart FM Droog, 2020. |
