'Hitler' in Ghent

A watercolour depicting people bathing in a lake or river, signed "A. Hitler", dimensions 25 x 35 centimeter was announced to be auctioned on September 13, 1982 in the Belgian city of Ghent (Gent). According to a Reuters report in Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad the work originated from a private collection in Belgium. The newspaper reported too that Hitler as a youngster made copies of famous paintings - another concoction.
